On Saturday May the 8th we celebrated Mom with a High Tea baking class in our Cooking Studios in the Brand Experience Centres in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
In Cape Town we welcomed our guests with a glass of blush bubbly which was enjoyed whilst browsing our beautiful Showroom, thereafter guests head up to our Cooking Studio to start the day’s event. Chef Grace Stevens guided our guests through the process of making Sweetie Pies from scratch. Our guests were able to experience the Bosch appliances for themselves while learning to make a delicious sweet treat. The mom’s and daughters worked in pairs. When they were done with the baking experience it was time to enjoy the High Tea spread, 3 tiered cake stands stood proud on a beautifully set table brimming with a mix of sweet and savoury delights. The moms enjoyed a selection of flavoured teas and various coffees whilst indulging on the delectable eats. When the day was done our guests left with their sweetie pies that they had made and a goody bag filled with some Bosch items to enjoy at home.
In Johannesburg Chef Lesego Semenya taught the guests how to make a variety of mini baked goods, using the Bosch appliances. He demonstrated the making of crème patisserie, scones, shortbread, romany creams as well as some savoury spring rolls. Guests then enjoyed the treats that they had just made whilst sipping on a glass of bubbly and chatting away.
